About IBEU
My journey started simple.
Long before there was an IBEU, there was curiosity and a few Ball jars. I wanted to truly understand the herbs I was working with, so I studied them closely — their healing properties, their traditional uses, and the ways each one could complement the others. I began preparing small batches by hand, infusing dried herbs in olive oil and giving them several months to steep. It was quiet, unhurried work, and I came to value that. Each batch asked for patience and care, and in return it taught me a deep respect for plants that have been part of healing traditions for generations. That same respect is at the heart of everything I make today.
A career in skin
Thirty years of looking at skin for a living
For more than 30 years I have worked in the medical laboratory field, over 20 of them dedicated to dermatopathology. In that time I have seen countless skin conditions — from everyday irritations to chronic disorders. Modern medicine has its place. But I also came to recognize that many skin concerns can be soothed and supported with simple, natural ingredients, rather than relying solely on harsh chemicals or oral medications.
Over 15 years ago I began making herbal salves because I wanted skincare made with ingredients I could trust — simple, organic products using herbs that have been valued for generations. Every IBEU product reflects that philosophy: carefully selected ingredients, handcrafted in small batches, with nothing unnecessary added.
Over the years, my process has evolved into a much more refined method that extracts the full essence and potency of each herb, allowing me to create salves that capture the greatest benefits nature has to offer.
After all these years, I am incredibly proud of the products I have created, and I'm always striving to improve them. I believe healing doesn't have to come from harsh chemicals. Nature has already provided us with remarkable ingredients that can comfort, nourish, and support the body's natural ability to heal.

The name
Why the name IBEU?
IBEU (이브), pronounced ee-boo, is the Korean pronunciation of the name Eve. I chose this name in honor of my daughter, making it a company built from love, family, and the desire to create something meaningful.
To me, IBEU represents new beginnings, life, healing, and the beauty found in nature. Those values are reflected in every product I make. I believe the simplest remedies are often the most powerful.
IBEU is more than a name. It is a tribute to family, a commitment to gentle, holistic care, and a reminder that nature has an incredible ability to nurture and restore.
